Responsible Decision-making through Guardianship
A Guardianship can be necessary when a person is no longer able to handle his or her own affairs and make informed decisions. Guardianships can also be needed in some circumstances for minor children or for children with disabilities.
The Courts in Washington State are very active in supervising guardianships. The requirements of establishing a guardianship and the reporting to the Court after a guardianship is established can be overwhelming.
Our lawyers have experience both in establishing guardianships and in obtaining approval by the Court of guardian's reports. We can offer a varied level of assistance to our clients - from letting them know where to find the necessary forms and how to proceed, to reviewing the forms, to full representation in the courtroom.
